FRIDAY NIGHT WELCOMING PARTY, OCTOBER 21ST 6:00 P.M. TO 10:30 P.M. We encourage everyone to join in our Welcoming Party, not just those staying at the reunion hotel. Think of it as a warm up to Saturday night's Big Bash. This will give us a chance to relax and get reacquainted with old school friends. There will be hors d'voures and drinks and some music. Come to the reunion hotel lobby and there will be a sign where the party is located. We will then have an optional bus cruise over to the Vintage Car Show at Bob's Big Boy Toluca Lake. Those cars bring back so many wonderful memories from our high school dayz. After the viewing, we'll cruise the Blvd, schools and hot spots. Friday Night Welcome Party 6-7:00 p.m. - Meet at Hotel for appetizers and drinks 7:15 p.m. - Optional Bus cruising to Bob's Toluca Lake vintage cars and Fries and Cherry Cokes 8:30 - Bus tour of Ventura and Van Nuys Blvd with some short stops 9:30 - 10:30 pm. - Back to Hotel for More fun, food and drink Friday Night Confirmation... please!!! SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23rd, VAN NUYS HIGH BRUNCH AND TOUR This Will Be a Real Memory Blast to Hang Out Together at Our Old Alma Matar To Thee Thy Dear High School We Sing Dum De Dum... The School Brunch and Tour is the mellow wind down to our Reunion Weekend. Our School Picnic at the last reunion was a real trip! With tour guide, Athletic Coordinator Terry Stoller, who is also the Alumni Association President and a VNHS '76 graduate, we will get to see inside the buildings where are our minds were formed. If architecture has anything to do with how the brain functions, then there must be something in the design of the original campus that produced such wonderful folks as all of us. So look out for flashbacks into the past, therapy sessions not included. Sunday Brunch at Van Nuys High Cafeteria: Includes coffee cake, fresh fruit, assorted juices, coffee and tea and maybe the original cinnamon rolls that kept us awake till lunch, 40 years ago. Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Cost: $6 per person Parking: Please park in the Kittridge school lot... it is located where our Senior lawn was situated or also behind new Cafeteria by boys Gym.
